Well you would think we had a lot to teach people in ex communist countries about how democracy works wouldn’t you?
Last week I had the chance to meet Barbara Imiolczyk who is the President of the Executive Committee for the “Foundation in Support of Local Democracy”. This organisation was set up in 1992 and has been implementing assistance for countries undergoing systematic transformation i.e. ex communist European countries.

I had a trip to visit our French operation last week. I met a group of staff who are really committed to tackling the needs of unemployed people and have fully understood the way in which we seek to “Improve Peoples Lives”.
One of our clients is homeless, unemployed and buried in a sea of debt. Our team have helped to resolve and reschedule his debt and are confident of securing him a job whilst they have also made great progress to getting him into his own home.
