Felt it only right to do a bit of a catch up for my faithful blog readers. Naughty me - I have been residing too much in the real world and have not paid due attention to my virtual presence!

Sometimes we can all become a slave to our diaries - each week thinking if I can just get to the end of this week then next week I will take charge of my time. It is a bit like  a diet - always planning it to start on Mondays.

Oh well - it sometimes takes others to point out how we are spending our time.

I have a bit of a poorly back - so I have a sports massage once a week for half an hour with Noella- which really helps - except that I have had to cancel my regular Monday appointment. When I eventually made it to an appointment this Monday - Noella asked who had Hi-jacked my life?

Face down - she couldn't see my reaction - but what a powerful question. Who has hijacked my life? (and more importantly why have I let it happen).

I have mentioned mentors before - the other day I spent time with mine. I asked how on earth I was going to get the time I needed to think and plan. He asked what I was doing that I shouldn't be doing. He asked if I was good enough at saying no. He asked whether i had clearly outlined in my mind what MY priorities were - what mattered to me - what I wanted to spend my time doing. All obvious stuff - thanks Hugh for asking the questions.

I have worked out the answers and I feel much stronger about standing firm in the face of the many many hijackers.
