Busy busy busy - not posted for a while - sorry.

Come back from a holiday full of new energy - think you are a super hero and next thing you know you have done several months work in a few weeks.

I now realise that I am not a super hero - and that I am ready for another break already!

My busy weeks have been fascinating weeks - someone just looking at the appts in my diary might think it all sounds glam - no chance...

Interviews with journalists, dinner with Mervyn King (Gov. of the Bank of England), A4e's stunning management conference(300 people from around the world), A4e's 'Improving people's lives awards, meeting with A4e's country Chairman,  Institue of Directors annual convention at the Albert Hall, being appointed as a Director of the Institue of Directors, meeting Mike Power (Chief Operating Officer for the London Olympics), presenting women of the year awards, lunches/dinners with ministers, CEO's and the great and the good!, appointing a new CEO for A4e, board meetings, 400 staff to my house for get -togethers etc etc

UMMMMMM....

Me thinks I should keep a closer eye on what gets put in my diary - and the things I agree to do.

However - one clear weekend - walking in the hills with my kids, eating an ice cream, cooking with my mates, looking at the new leaves on the trees,going to the local pub - talking nonsense - the pace slows and all is well in my world.

Ready for the next crazy weeks...
